He does get better, after all; it’s the Inn, and he was, as this demonstrates, one of the first beneficiaries. Looking forward to seeing Lyonette, cringeworthy as she was at the start. Talk about “desperate and bedraggled”; at least Pisces didn’t do it in winter. Come to that, Relc’s not the Drake I’d most like to see drawn at the moment; that “sounds like it looks” amazing—and that’s before going into extremities… .

I just noticed the chairs have tail slots, great detail!
I keep thinking that Relc also has an anti-magic spearhead, but maybe this is just the first one he grabbed off the rack at the guardhouse, because I seem to recall that he doesn’t use that one exclusively since it draws unwelcome attention. The kind of people who recognize it and him are not the kind of people whose attention anyone wants; it tends to immediately precede—well, people like the Gecko of Liscor… .
